You're right that no ne can ever be good enough- to earn even a single moment in this life. But Heaven is a different story- according to Jesus, Heaven comes from within, the heart, and is spread upon the face of the earth. This life is your Heaven and it can also be your Hell. It's following God that keeps you from creating your own living Hell. Jesus seems to have said that the Kingdom of Heaven, which we have right here if we choose to, and the Kingdom of God are not one and the same.

If you believe that Jesus is God and call on Him that way then that's fine because you are actually calling on God, just using a different name. God knows your heart belongs to Him.
