YOU may not have sought those things of which Gary described but 'Christians' as a whole did. As a good Christian was it not your responsibility to publicly speak out against the evil those 'Christians' practiced?

Jesus spoke out against the Priests and their pursuit of power. Is that not what He would expect a true follower who just happens to call himself a 'Christian' (something not known to Him) to also speak out on behalf of the good, rather than say "I'm not guilty of doing those things because I'm a Good Christian"? He, after all, would be both angry and appalled to walk into a modern church and see icons and images of himself and learn that those who call themselves his followers actually worship Him as God, rather than the One who is good, God.
