You didn’t have to, and didn’t, “spell” anything out for me. What I said came from what I know. It’s pretty stupid, child-like even, to think that anything socially liberal, i.e. progressive can be accomplished without a way to pay for it.
Or, are you ultra-wealthy and have never had to make sure your account will cover the cost of something you want to buy? Well, goody for you. And why are you complaining when you already have everything you need?
Or, maybe a money tree grows in your backyard, because we’d all love to have one of those!
You can’t make any change for the better if you don’t the money to pay for it! Is that simple enough for you to understand?
Are you following along now, because Flash Cards don’t work online.
- We need to, and should change a lot of things but it costs money.
- So, we just get the money we need, right?
- Where do we get that money?
Taxes. The money needed exists in this country in the hands of a few, a minority.
- So we tax those who have it and collect from those who haven’t paid.
- How do we enact a law to do that?
- Have a big enough majority to outvote the minority that holds back progress.
- How do we get the majority needed to make the changes?
- Get enough progressives and leftists to agree to not be reactionaries and work with centrists to form a big enough majority!
- Socially Liberal, Fiscally Conservative and even leftists and progressives and radical leftists and radical progressives get what they want.
- And, Done!
