No. And would the world be a better, more peaceful place if Putin controls Ukraine, with its vast resources, including 30% +/- of the wheat grown in the world, the sunflowers for cooking oil, the underground mineral wealth?

Of course not. I'm not disputing your statements or conclusions in general, Scott, but ending the war by giving Ukraine to Putin makes no sense in any way.
