Yes, there is a "You" outside of material existence. It is the true "you"- Valrithkelm", capital "V". On this plane, you are the same but lower case "v". Your soul is the capitalized "V"; what you are in this world is but a shadow of your true self and until you experience that and are far more "you" than your lower case "v" can ever fathom in this world then you don't yet understand WHO you truly are.
