That’s unquestionably true and hasn’t been “disproven”. I state facts and many of his supporters, such as you, take great offence. In three key states, even if Obama supporters didn’t come out in the same numbers, if the Bernie supporters (as I said- not ALL of his supporters) who voted for tRump didn’t do that, it would’ve still allowed the Democratic Party to win rather than the Republican. Again, numbers don’t lie but can be twisted or ignored. You seem to be digging in your heels over defending Bernie in any way possible. Even though I didn’t attack him. Just as the ‘Bernie or nobody’ crowd does and I see that every day, which is the only reason I even commented on the article. I also said, and I mean what I say, that I will wholeheartedly support and vote for Bernie if he’s the nominee. I see nothing wrong in that statement.

I was certain, and you’ve proven me right, that some of his core supporters will rush to his defense even when he hasn’t been attacked but a slight is perceived where none exists and those people will never, ever accept any blame at all. Perhaps out of embarrassment at being a large- key- factor in us having a madman in the WH?

I’d be embarrassed if I’d voted for him, although I didn’t and wouldn’t have. Hillary wasn’t and isn’t perfect but I voted for “good enough” because being one step out of Hell is better than being entirely in it. And that’s “good” not matter how it’s framed. Because there is no candidate less fit to be President than the current one and I learned early in the process that he isn’t and will never be anything more than a crook and accomplished con man.
