Those American military bases around the world are forced on no one and cost American taxpayers a lot of money. The nations with them have them because they want or asked for U.S. bases and those bases add a great deal to the local economies. There is nothing "aggressive" about having a U.S. military base in each nation; why not ask the people in those nations if they want to U.S. to pack up and leave. They may insist on nuclear submarines or warships in their harbors but take away the spending power the stationed troops have?

You're right about American imperialism being a terrible thing that enriches the already rich but beyond that I don't see anything else factual in your comment.
In the early to mid-20th century, it was 'our way or the highway' based on military power, now it's based on financial power.
Still wrong but at least Americans are getting screwed right along with the rest of the world.
