Then why all the churches and collecting "tithes"? Neither God nor Jesus ever asked for money, a human creation, nor ask for fine buildings: God does not need a building; He is everywhere and available to everyone in their hearts, not through pasters or priests and obviously is not confined to certain spaces. Christianity is a religion, no matter how one may look at it. Living life the way Jesus showed is what brings one closer to God, not rules, or money, or public worship. When you pray to God, do it "in your closet" as Jesus said to do. Praying in public is rewarded by man, not by God.
