"The vaccinated can become infected too, and do at fairly high rates, especially with the delta variant."

No, that isn't true. Of course there are vaccinated people who get infected again by the Delta variant. But not at "fairly high rates". Those infections are called "breakthrough infection" for a reason. They aren't common. And those re-infected rarely get sick enough to be hospitalized. And there are already new variants that may well be untreatable with current vaccines. And asymptomatic infected people can infect unvaccinated people. And, everyday, I see on the news how many new infections have been found state by state, county by county. How is that not monitoring infection rates? There are many people who refuse to be tested but hat isn't the fault of health departments. It's the fault of people who have the ignorant mentality to claim vaccines don't work and dig up evidence to back their claims. I read the links you added and they don't say anything as dire as you're warning. Maybe that's the "ignorant mentality" to which you refer? Keep believing what you want but I've repeatedly referred to the 'human petri dish' of deniers, of which you seem to be a part of, or at least support its growth.

Good luck with your beliefs based on twisting the meaning and findings of actual studies. I sincerely hope you don't get infected and even more sincerely hope you don't infect others. Only the truly selfish would do that.
