The gender pay gap hasn't been debunked and it doesn't take an economist to count. Ten is larger than eight, right? Study after study has shown that the gap in pay between a man and a woman doing the exact same job has been reduced from seventy-eight to eighty-two cents per dollar- an improvement but not an elimination. It's "oft quoted" because most people can count to ten.

You don't even understand what patriarchy means since you call it a "fad". No "fad" has lasted since the beginning of human history. It isn't "class warfare" nor is it analogous to "satanic panic", a phrase I've never heard but you seem to have insight on things no one else knows.

"Patriarchy" simply means that men are in control of society and women take the back seat. Period. When did women get the right to vote? In the early twentieth century after decades of fighting for it. When did women get the right to own their own bank accounts without a father, brother, or husband signing off on it? 1974. Can you name a single nation or time or even ancient tribe wherein women have been in control of society?

No, you can't because that has never existed. If you were a working woman, you'd see that clearly but as a supporter of the patriarchy, you deny it exists.
