That's true, of course, Deborah. With no verb tense in Hebrew, I AM simply means past, present, and future are one. I was, I am, and I will be. The word God is just that, a word used to personify what can't be understood, yet exists.

Yahweh, Allah, Jehovah, the Universe, the All, the Energy that underlies all creation, the Is... All just words, names that fall under the umbrella term "God".

I guess a rose, by any other name, is still a rose.

I believe in "God" by whatever term is used but I have no way to even begin to give a name.
