That isn't how Christianity started but if that's what you want to believe, who am I to argue? Sit down and closely read the New Testament and you'll see the truth. Jesus didn't come to save you or anyone else; he came to show the way to be saved and that is simply to love Good and neighbor. His early followers, after his death, called themselves Followers of the Way, way Jesus taught others to live, not "Christians". The word "Christian" wasn't used until several generations after Jesus was killed.
