That is a big drawback- the polls look like your candidate can't lose so why vote? Because polls are rarely right, and we know Republicans will cheat their way into office, if at all possible, regardless of what it takes. Which is a good reason to get higher turnout next month than ever before. Republican led states have thrown up as many barriers as possible to stop Democrats and more are added every day.

I wasn't old enough to vote for McGovern and voted for Carter twice and for Mondale but so many people fell into the Republican trap of dirty tricks that my votes accomplished nothing. I will do everything in my power (as little as that may be) to keep Democrats in control next month and with expanded majorities.

We cannot afford the American Taliban taking over.
