And the funding Republicans want cut is what they've been trying to cut for decades- primarily Social Security, Medicare, SNAP and WIC (food for the poor and for hungry children and infants) VA benefits, ad nauseum. Their current plan is to force default on the US to get their greedy plans pushed on to everyone other than the very rich and- on themselves, as well.
