Still, there are self-styled "progressives" writing on Medium nearly everyday that Biden is a neoliberal, corporate sellout, a failure and not truly progressive at all because he dares to compromise to get things done. I don't consider those complainers to be true progressives or to have the best interests of the country in mind. They don't even know the definition of 'neoliberal' i.e. Republicans and seem to think that massive change should happen overnight, with the snap of a finger or, apparently, a magic wand.

Problems that have built up over years, decades, can't be changed overnight and compromise is always needed. FDR compromised and we got the New Deal, but try to explain that to many "progressives" and you'll get attacked and called someone who just doesn't understand the issues we face.

They want instant gratification and that's an idiotic thing to want. It doesn't happen in the real world and never has , except, perhaps, in whatever bubble world they grew up in. They're adults now, not children, and adults set aside the things of childhood. Or are supposed to, at least.
