Sorry to seem negative, but although much of what you say is correct, or close to correct, you're flippant about things you call "pop psychology" and are ignorant of the scientific fact that ADD/ADHD are physical conditions of the human brain, nothing "pop" about it. The fact that you're not even aware of some things you claim to be true are, in fact, not true, casts doubt on your claims that are true, such as your final two paragraphs. What you're describing is known by Jung and by others who have experienced it as "Self", often labeled by those who've yet to know their Selves, as "soul".
