People such as the author of the story and Mr. Ontario prefer to vent their emotions rather than think critically about reality versus hopes and dreams. We all hope for a better future but we don't attack that movement from within. We use reason and work toward that future as much as is possible in the real world, in what can be achieved, not just what we pretend to want, You know, it's that damn reality that gets in the way of emotional wants, every time.
