Not written by the Apostle John and not even written by the same man who wrote all but the first two chapters of John and the Book of Acts. I wholeheartedly agree that Jesus showed us the Way to find God, but he certainly never claimed to be the one who will save you- that's your job, follow the Way he taught. Just as his early followers did. They didn't refer to themselves as "Wayists" for no reason nor did they ever live under the delusion that Jesus would save their souls for God.
