Then explain the hadiths Muslims abide by. As Islam's version of Priests, they complied the Qur'an from collected scraps of papyrus or leather or whatever Mohammad's wrote his sayings on just as the Christian Church did the same. And both chose which rituals 'good' followers of Allah should practice.
For example, did Mohammad say to pray at set times five times a day? It's likely he wasn't often able to keep that strict, exacting time table.
