Not in half a century, though. Paul wrote his first letter in roughly 67-70 CE (AD) to a church he'd recently founded. It was around 100 +/- CE that he wrote the last of them, in the same time period (100+ CE) that the Book of John and Acts of the Apostles were written and members of Paul's church first called themselves Christians. Many of the later letters attributed to Paul weren't written by him as it was a common literary device at that time to affix the name of a well-known person to your writing if you wanted it to have any hope of being read.
