Mush has never claimed that his cars could drive themselves, other than possibly to pick you up at the end of your driveway, or to park themselves (as many, many new cars do, but that must be okay for Neidermeyer since he doesn't attack them), or to safely drive themselves on the highway- has he ever heard of Cadillac, among other high-end vehicles? Musk has always stated and stressed that a driver must be behind the wheel in case of emergency. The serious and sometimes deadly accidents that have happened were when no one was behind the wheel. Neidermeyer sounds like he has a visceral dislike that borders on hate (jealousy?) of Musk- and what better way to sell his book than stoop to National Enquirer standards?
