Most of what was accepted to be ;sacred' in the New Testament was made up by men who never met Jesus or even heard him speak. Saul changed his name to Paul so he could reach out to Gentiles and form what became the Church. I'm not saying Paul was a bad person, he wasn't (as far as I or anyone else can know) but he never met or heard Jesus's teachings. In 325 AD, a group of Bishops sorted through thousands of texts and stories about Jesus and chose the ones that fit their narrative which gave the Church more power over the people and brought in a lot of money to the Church; neither of those things are something Jesus would've approved of. I strongly believe that if Jesus were to walk into any 'Christian' church, he'd be appalled that people worship Him, rather than the only one whom he said was Good- God. BTW, Jesus did say that the Kingdom of Heaven comes from within each person's heart and is spread upon the face of the earth- not from any church or organized religion. Those things are what he warned against: false prophets, wolves in sheep's clothing. Every person can and must find their own relationship with God.

No priest needed.

No 'church' needed.

No organized 'religion' needed.

Only God is needed.
