Mary Baker Eddy, the woman who founded the “Christian Science” religion (and please don’t misunderstand this as me pushing a religious creed) was an extremely intelligent woman. Part of her belief was that the deeper a physical scientist searches for smaller and smaller ‘particles’ beyond the atom will continue to find those smaller and smaller particles as long as they are searched for; in other words, whatever is searched for in the sub-atomic domain will be found because they appear as needed. And that seems to be what’s happened in that branch of science but she wasn’t speculating on a ‘virtual’ world since that wasn’t even a concept in the 19th century; to her, God was the one creating and adjusting the ‘virtual’ world in which we live.
