Many do but many don't. Using the royal "We" is a bit pretentious in this case. Many of us don't place high value on financial "success" because so many other things are of truly greater value, to the individual and to society as a whole.

Good article, though. Written, of course, by someone who has "lusted" after money and material goods and still does.

What will you do when an advanced AI can write these same things through digitization? That day is not too far away. Recognize that non-material things are of more value than your mastering the right 'technique' of writing what sells? Look at the Kardashians. Great at the techniques of getting rich with no true talent but great for society or anyone else?

But, as I said, good article, for those who value money above empathy.
