A great question. I think of the quantum wave function as analogous to a macro-world wave function in the sea, existence is in the foam of a wave, the ';froth',' and the electromagnetic spectrum. And patterns of waves in water interfere continuously, a "mind" (soul, ego, Self...) may be riding an ever-changing crest, a path to ride on top of waves of intersecting frequencies.

Patterns, for some reason seem intrinsic on the macro level so the quantum level must have a way to affect it in that way. Or knowing if you/your soul is riding the crest of quantum electromagnetic waves and that crest could end at any time might be moot since it is just a probability.
