I'm not sure where you got that last paragraph from but I've read, cover to cover, multiple translations of the Bible, the KJV at age twelve, and majored in Religious Studies at university and in all those years I met one serious theologian who claimed to believe a "Rapture" would come about, although I should say pretended to believe because he was under constant peer pressure to not question what he was taught in the Seminary he studied in.
