I’m not stupid; I know full well that Hillary isn’t running this time. I have no idea what you mean by “Repeating these old, debunked lies”. If you’re talking about the fact that many Sanders supporters voted for Trump and cost Hillary the election then that hasn’t been “debunked”. Do you want another source that proves that particular claim? I’ll add another one for you, below. I merely wanted to politely ask that his supporters don’t throw a tantrum and vote for Trump again if Bernie doesn’t win the nomination. All truly civic minded people would do the right thing and I simply reminded his supporters of what a small group of them did four years ago. The vast majority of Bernie’s supporters did vote for Hillary but it inly took a small percentage who voted for Trump in a few key states to give him the win. That shouldn’t happen again and any self-proclaimed “progressive” who does that isn’t an honest progressive but a traitor to the cause that Bernie and the rest of us support. I was nothing but polite and you respond with some nonsense about Hillary supporters not getting over 2016. I, for one, AM over “2016”” but you seem to cling to it like it’s a life vest. Rather than support and vote for the Democratic candidate, disappointed supporters of Bernie gave Trump the election in 2016 whether that fits your worldview or not.

It only takes a few key states the get 270 Electoral votes and Bernie supporters gave Trump far more votes in those states than the number by which Hillary lost. I don’t see how that can be seen any way other than as black and white. Hard numbers.

I have no hard feelings toward anyone about what happened in 2016 but you seem to be hung up on the “it’s all been debunked” talking points, You don’t seem to want to hear anything unflattering about your fellow Bernie supporters yet many still refuse to come to terms with Hillary’s supporters. If Bernie was the candidate then, I would’ve, as I said, supported him wholeheartedly and not voted for the Republican just because Bernie wasn’t my preferred candidate; I’m not that immature and wouldn’t do such petty things.

Here’s to Bernie, if he wins the nomination. Or to whomever wins.
