I'm not so certain of that. They each studied and spoke of archetypes experienced by everyone. Not gods or other beings. Nor are people still married or still the parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, or children of the person deceased. Each soul still exists as the same "person" they were on this plane of existence, except with a greater sense of self than can ever be imagined in this world..

But those NDEs some people experience are typically the things a person believes he or she will see; but that isn't the real thing. "Heaven" is a Greek concept introduced by Hellenized

Jews but it doesn't exist in the OT, nor does "Hell". The writers of the New Testament, none of whom can be reliably believed to be the Apostles who knew and followed Jesus, translated the word Gehenna as "Hell" but that is not the original meaning of that word, and Heaven, according to Jesus, "comes from within [the heart] and is spread upon the face of the earth". Not a "place" to go to any more than is "Hell", but it helped keep followers of Christianity in line. Do good to the church [tithes?] and God will grant you a place in Heaven or don't do "good" by following what the church teaches and you'll burn in Hell's everlasting lake of burning fire. A common misconception of Christians is to "go toward the light", (which they believe will be there, waiting for them) but Buddhist and Hindus warn against that. This is a relevant story, thanks for sharing.
