I'm not a Christian but a follower of the Way Jesus taught us to live but I fully agree that no one can ever do enough good works to earn even a single moment of life.

I strongly disagree because the way you work that is the height of arrogance; saying that anyone "deserves" to be with God. I believe that is up to God to decide.
