I see what you intended to say but have no idea why you'd even make that remark. I said nothing about Islam being "perfect" nor about any other organized religion. So, I don't understand who you're referring to by saying you can't "Have it both ways". Islam is as pagan a religion as is Christianity. Anyone in any religion who believes their sacred text is actually the true meaning of God is wrong. I clearly stated that I am not a Muslim, but I have no problem at all with Muslim scholars/researchers getting credit for what they did get right. Neither do I fault any Western scientist of the past for being wrong, not even Ancient Greeks.
