I picture time as an illusion created by the mind. It (imho) is a flat, circular plane and we stand at the center, the "moment". On my right is the future, on the left is the past and where I stand is the present, the "moment" which is all that can be seen from our position. As the circular plane turns counter clockwise, the "future" becomes the "present", the "moment" that exists and is continually changing, just as the "past" was once the "moment".

As you say, the Tao that can be told is not the Tao.
