I like the Book of Proverbs and it is one of my favorites- right up there with third Isaiah and the Book of John. And apparently God decided to share those same proverbs, wisdom, with a lot of other ancient societies- the older Egyptian Instruction of Amenemope having identical "proverbs" and much of the same structure, just as some of what the OT prophets said that also happens to be the same as the Egyptian Oracle of the Potter.

The Bible is well worth multiple readings because something new can be learned with every reading but to claim it was shared solely with ancient Hebrews is rather arrogant of us. God, you see, loved all mankind not just the ones who claimed to be his "Chosen" tribes.
