I haven't met many people who believe that's the route to go. But saying it's "the hyper-left young people" reveals a prejudice by generalizing an entire group of people based on only two common features- they're young and leftist. No group of people {placing people in "groups" is generalizing, as well) all believe the same things and it's unfair to assume, just as it's unfair to say that all young, leftist people blame all our problems on Boomers ("some" do, not all, though) or non-leftist people blaming all our ills on immigrants. Again, "some" do but not all.
