I fully agree it will end badly. But that has nothing at all to do with her age: it has to do with her being the next Maggie Thatcher, Ronnie Reagan's austerity clone. She's wedded to a political school of thought that has been proven a failure, time after time. That austerity, the government tightening its belt, cutting costs everywhere possible improves an economy and living conditions; the opposite of Keynesian economics, wherein it's the government's duty to spend more money because it's needed. Austerity, "Reaganomics" did much harm in America, and under the name "Thatcherism" it did worse to the UK and Germany also inflicted that pain on itself. Small government fans are found in every generation, even among the young.
