I consider myself to be deeply spiritual, from having "spiritual experiences" and reading about and sometimes studying religions. I sincerely believe I've learned something of value from each religion and from most related books. I say this so I'm not confused as an adherent of any organized religion. That said, there is wisdom and truth found beyond the usual Buddhist, Jungian readings that I think most miss. The "Church of Christ, Scientist" was founded by a Harvard medical assistant? (doctor~) Mary Baker Eddy, and the book she authored, "Science and Health, with Key to the Scriptures", is, I think, a superb look at the mixing of matter and energy as it relates to spirit. The book is a good complement to other spirit(Spirit?)-related works. Some thought her a genius and after having read that book, I agreed. One of my favorites quotes is from her book.

"We tread on Forces; withdraw them and we must inevitably collapse". Her "forces" were forces of God, of Spirit, of course, but of the material world, too. A field of energy from which forces arise that comprise all creation doesn't sound too far from quantum physics and that field of energy, of potential, which interweaves everything seen.
