You should study the Bible more closely. Then again, I’m well-aware of the verse you paraphrase: Cast not your pearls (wisdom) before swine, for they will trample it into the dirt and then turn on you, as well”.
My mistake was being foolish enough to attempt to share with you just a small bit of wisdom which you rejected and then turned on me. That casts you in the position of the swine, does it not?
Your wise, knowing words have shown me that my 50 years of Bible reading, of multiple versions, my Bible study, and formal education in university of religion, with the focus on the Abrahamic religions, was just a waste of much of my life. That’s clear to me now because you are indeed wiser than that liar, the Prophet Jeremiah. And those other liars, all three Isaiahs, other Old Testament Prophets and, wow, even Jesus!
You must feel so special knowing those things. And it must be amazing to hold such an exulted position as the spokesperson of God. We should all fall to our knees and worship you. I mean, Jesus refused to be worshipped but you’re so much wiser than him, so why shouldn’t you be worshipped as a bringer of Truth the world has waited for?
Good day to you, and because anger isn’t a part of my nature, I will still pray you become enlightened enough to understand the meaning behind the words of the verses you cherry pick to make your point, rather than take the words at face value in the 21st century context.
That’s the difference between true Wisdom and rote memorization of Chapter and verse and I surely hope you stop rejecting Wisdom as she calls out to you from every city gate.
Hey, count how many times I used “I”, if you think that helps you grow closer to God.
