Great article, Yaholo. It shows your deep understanding of the needed, and not-needed, aspect of miracles. I've of two minds on the reported miracles. In one, I favor Thomas Jefferson's view espoused in his translation of the NT, wherein Jesus was the greatest teacher of love and kindness in recorded history but TR left out all the "miracles". Secondly, I won't insists that Jesus never performed miracles, as many Christian believe, but that they were over-hyped to be more than they were by people who witnessed or just heard about them. No one sees a great new thing and doesn't exaggerate when telling others and the story morphs with each retelling. It's human nature. But the last two sentences, imho, sum up what Jesus may have wanted others to take from the entirety of his teachings, and shows that you understand that there is only one "commandment" we must follow:
"We are the children of God and we have all the power we need. What we lack, is kindness."
