Graham, I'm not exactly sure how to phrase that same though, although I came to that conclusion a decade or so ago and wrote my take on the fact that the Universe (God, or whatever name one uses- I'll just use "U" to simplify things) does care and has been and still is 'watching' over me. At the very least, the U has prevented me from doing a lot of dangerous, harmful to my best good, things. I've learned to 'trust my gut feeling' if that makes sense and go with my first instinct and wherever I'm led because I do trust that 'U' to always do what's best for me even when I think or want things to be different than what they would be had I chosen to ignore where I was pushed/led to go. It's here if you have any interest in reading it. The grammar isn't perfect, and I should've made the piece longer, but I guess the 'U' didn't want that for me at the time.
