For many people, regular church attendance is helpful, and I have nothing against doing that. Although the "Christian" church was built on lies and has caused massive damage and pain and death to an uncountable number of people, at least it has gotten the knowledge that Jesus existed into the world and that's a good thing. And church groups have and still do great and loving things for others, it just isn't for me. I give directly to charities of what I have because I prefer knowing where it goes, and I can't trust a church to use my gifts in the way I intend. I shudder at some of its church's teachings but that's merely my opinion and I often fear that I might mislead someone and stand in the way of them finding God, much as the Priests Jesus criticized did and many ministers do. I'm glad to hear that you find solace and community being among fellow worshippers and that you know that each person finds God in their hearts, as Jesus said. I will never criticize another's Path to God, as I believe we will all find God in our own way.

Thank you for your reply and may God bless your day, every day.
