A comparison of the Democratic and Republican Party’s governing plans and ultimate goals

Democrat

Pros

*If you believe that you, your parents, grandparents, siblings, children, neighbor, or anyone you know relies on their Social Security benefits to help cover living expenses or have only Medicare for healthcare insurance, and medication provider, or Social Security Disability benefits and physical therapy should continue to receive it.

*If you believe that there are times when families need short-term assistance through TANF- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, or WIC- assistance with such things as adequate nutrition for women with young children.

*If you don’t want to rely on Congress to decide every five years what civil rights you will still have- for five years.

*If you agree that unemployment compensation is important.

*If you agree that everyone should have healthcare when needed and wellness care to help prevent small illnesses from becoming major or fatal.
