“Bernie is now, in spite of his efforts to salvage the party,”

Bernie hates Democrats and the Democratic Party. He votes with Democrats, usually, because the other choice is siding with Republicans. But he wants to destroy the Party he uses to run for President- he knows third party runs are useless.

If he wins, as a Democrat, then I hope he’ll ‘salvage’ the Party and rework the numerous problem in the Democratic Party rather than destroying it and not go off on a tangent such as banning all private health insurers and putting thousands of people out of work without at least a phaseout period.

If he’s the nominee, of course I’ll support him despite the fact that he hates, as he’s said many times, Democrats because it will be Democrat's who put him in Office.
