"Baptized in the Spirit" can be considered a type of "conversion" (into the given religion) because it is something done within the congregation to become acceptable to said congregation members. It's the 'expected' behavior. The term "Born again", however, is not the same thing. That typically happens in private, when a person hits 'rock bottom' and no longer feels in control of their life and literally 'asks God' to take over their life. But those who are "born again" during a church gathering, sermon, baptism in from of the congregation, etc. is not at all the same thing. Those people- often if not nearly always children- believe themselves "Saved" because they conformed to what was expected of them by the group, rather than by seeking a true relationship with God. And by doing that they typically believe they've done there part and that's all they needed to do to be 'saved'.

Which is far from what Jesus, and later the founder of the Church, Paul, taught. I'm no longer 'religious' largely because most religions are those 'ravening wolves in sheep's clothing', 'false prophets' that Jesus warned us not to be fooled by and not to follow.
