As in "Many will be called but few will enter". And the golden rule isn't and shouldn't be seen as a 'rule', it's a way of living one's life and comes from the heart, not imposed n the ego. In the grand scheme of things, ego is not, Self is. And I'm not sure why a spiritual life is "dangerous" unless one is controlled by ego and that is the opposite of living by the "golden rule".
