And there's that old fallback- blame it on the Clintons! I hate to inform those people, but Bill Clinton "forced" no one to buy a house. He did force banks to make homebuying easier but it was the banks and mortgage lenders who conned people into buying houses the lenders knew the borrowers couldn't afford. But, yeah, blame it on Bill.
