Agree 100%. Giving into blackmail simply encourages the blackmailer to take more. Have people learned nothing from appeasing Hitler on the promise of peace?

Nukes, of course, are new to the equation, but appeasing an oppressor is still not the answer. The West should continue to supply Ukraine with whatever is needed to drive Russia out of all of Ukraine. That will be expensive, and Republicans will try to reduce funding for Ukraine. But Americans and Europeans need to understand the danger to the world is great regardless of what Putin does and the West giving in now simply makes the future far more dangerous for us all.
