Achieving Nirvana does not "create power" nor does it have anything to do with controlling others. It is simply what others have called "Cosmic Conscience". It is an awareness of the All, of being one with everything. Keep up your meditation and you, too, may have that experience. I disagree that it is rare, it's more likely that most who experience it know it can't be described in words , so they simply don't speak of it to others.

Nor is that how Buddhism started. I suggest you learn more about the two branches of Buddhism, the second of which began with Gautama and is known as Mahayanist Buddhism the form followed by most Westerners who consider themselves Buddhist. And its beginning had and has no desire to control anyone, unlike most organized religions.
