A great many things are completely and mathematically undefined. That proves nothing other than mathematics hasn't advanced enough to explain those phenomena. Some physicists have proposed 'shapes' for the universe, a toroidal shape and elongated oval among the most common theorized.
It is possible, just not explainable by current science, to see the universe from 'outside' it. Just as higher planes of existence can't be explained by science, yet exist. That's a common thread in Hinduism and, in fact, all religions. After a great deal of meditation I saw the universe from outside- in the form of an elongated oval- and it is in constant motion, movement, yet never moves. It 'flows' along within itself and our lives, personalities are the primary essence, primary purpose it exists. Lives flare into being in their entirety, including emotions, then enfold again into the universe. Hence, the ever still and constant movement of the universe.
