A Brahma lives (typically) 100 years, as measured by his (Hindu) time. We’re in the current Brahma’s 51st year- one day into his night. If the universe is 14 billion~ years old, by our measure of time then it will be roughly 14 billion years before this universe “dies”, collapses and a new one is reborn. We don’t have anything to worry about as far as the universe ending in our lifetime- but we are in the beginning of the dark (night) period of Brahma’s life, the slow collapse of the universe. Everything in this universe is getting farther from everything else in this universe.
But not necessarily the decline of man. There is a lot that can be accomplished in the next 14 billion years, both good and evil. Assuming mankind survives that long.
